A 6-PART LIMITED SERIES. (120 minutes)
Set in the 1970s, this 6-part immersive "biopod" scripted drama tells the story of two big-dreaming filmmakers and friends, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas — and their composer, John Williams — and how they turned their lives upside down to lead a movie revolution. This series was produced by filmmakers, and includes detailed sound design and an original orchestral score.
All six ad-free episodes and a highlight reel, are presented below.
PRODUCTION NOTES
FUNDING: This series was funded entirely by the creators, researched as a documentary project, and written/produced as a narrative "movie for your ears."
SOUND: The sound design was created by MPSE-nominated film sound editor Peter Bawiec.
ORIGINAL MUSIC: The original orchestral score was created by Ryan Taubert and Benjamin Botkin.
FACTS AND RESEARCH: This true series and its facts were researched by Emmy Award-winning investigative journalist Matt Schrader, and cleared by Fox Rothschild LLP of Los Angeles.
